Hi, I'm Moa.

Mama of Maya and August, lover of nature, creative, gardener, yoga teacher, photographer. As we all do, I go under many names and roles. The role of photographer has been with me for a long time, starting in early childhood with a father who taught film photography at a small art school and always had his camera close by.


I started shooting professionally in my early 20s when I lived in surf camps and took photos of surfing and travel. I later started working with brands and products and when I had my first baby I started doing family photography. After having my second, I’ve found myself reaching for the camera to capture lots of little moments because I now know how fast it all passes, and this has brought me a new wave of inspiration for my art and business.


I love working with families and children and find it so special and important to capture these fleeting years. I read the other day that “photography is the closest we get to time travel” and that’s it for me, what I do is so much more than pressing a button, it’s about creating a time capsule for you to revisit these days forever and that is the most special thing and biggest honour to be trusted to do.
