My session with Bernie and her family was fun and playful to keep up with her toddler, yet sweet and cuddly. I've had a few toddler and newborn photoshoots lately and absolutely love them, it's such a special time and a meeting of the slowness and the chaos of two completely different stages of childhood.
We spent the session walking and running around at the beach, seated on a blanket with the toddler running in to tackle mum and dad with cuddles, and playing airplanes, both with the toy the family brought with them and with arms stretched out on dads shoulders. My favourite spot in Cooks Beach provided with that perfect golden hour light, warm sunshine and a beautiful autumn afternoon.
