A balmy beach evening
It was one of those perfect late summer evenings, with the peaceful sounds of the small waves crashing on the beach and the calming colours of the sunset. Madie, her partner and their dog were a little nervous of doing their first photoshoot, but soon found comfort and leaned into their anticipation and love for each other.
What I love about maternity photography
I have a special kind of love for maternity photography, maybe because I've so recently been pregnant myself, but there's something magical about capturing a woman's body in full bloom, along with the anticipation and excitement for meeting the new baby. Pregnancy is such a big and special yet fleeting time, it's almost like we forget about it once baby is here because all of our focus is now on the new baby, and that's where it's so beautiful to have photos to look back at and to show our kids as they grow up and develop an understanding of their origin.
