A slow morning at home
When I arrived at Liz home with the first rays of morning light seeping in through the windows I forgot everything I usually say before I begin a session and had to start taking photos straight away because everything was so beautiful.
The session had an ease to it that you can only get at home, where Liz was simply present and playing with her four month old, the only direction from me being to give him a kiss on the forehead, move to this chair or face that way without breaking their sweet connection and play.
At home sessions are truly where my heart lies this winter, with so many natural moments of connection and such a deep intimacy of being in the family’s safe space.
